About us

OBJECTIVES AND VISION OF THE TRUST

The likeminded Trustees had a vision of serving the society for various charitable purposes, and they have been doing this for a few years individually according to their financial strength and requests received.  When there are frequent requests from various sides requesting support for educational purposes, medical expenses, physically and mentally handicapped persons, elderly people who are economically weak, etc., the trustees have decided to organise and form a trust to make it more accountable and also to bring in more donations to support the needy people for the above purposes.

Historical Temple renovations & construction

Tamilnadu is a spiritual land which is also known for its ancient temple architecture for many centuries.  We have approximately around 38000 temples spread across our state and many temples are 800 to 2000 yrs old. Some of these temples are in worst condition with lack of maintenance, pending for kumbabishekam, lack of money for Nithya pooja etc., We as a trust plan to support for such renovations, maintenance work, organizing kumbabishekam and donating homa draviyams for Kumbabishekam etc.,

gho samrakshanam

As per our belief, the cow is considered a sacred animal and symbolizes wealth, strength, and motherly love. It is believed to be the earthly representative of the divine and nourishing Mother Goddess, who represents fertility and bountifulness. Their milk is believed to have a purifying effect on human bodies.

Apart from the religious lookout of cow, our Constitution of India (Article 48) States that the State shall endeavour to organise agriculture and animal husbandry on modern and scientific lines and shall, in particular, take steps for preserving and improving the breeds, and prohibiting the slaughter, of cows and calves and other milch and draught cattle.

Annadhanam to Needy people, devotees etc.,

“Annadanam” is made up of two words – ‘Annam’ which means food and ‘danam’ which means the act of giving or donating. Annadanam is called the ‘Mahadanam’ among the various kinds of danam. Charity in the form of annadanam is a way in which you can contribute to life itself.

In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna says, “Annad bhavanti bhootani”. It means that food sustains all creation. Satisfying a person’s hunger brings good karma in this world as well as the next. Annadanam is not limited to humans.

As a Trust we would like to extend our support to the needy people, childrens, devotees etc.,

Education Support for Needy Childrens.

Mother Teresa Says, Be courageous and reach out of your comfort zone. Don’t wait for the “right time” or for someone else to take charge. You don’t need someone to tell you they need help; just go forward with faith that you can and will change lives through small means and simple acts of kindness, person to person.

Education plays a vital role in building strong communities by nurturing civic values, social cohesion, and active citizenship. Through education, individuals learn about their rights, responsibilities, and the importance of community engagement.

Yogapuri Trust is interested in supporting the needy childrens for the education from basic requirements to paying tuition fee, books, support for higher education etc.,
